What we collect

The calculators themselves collect nothing. Everything you enter — dimensions, prices, quantities — is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted to us or stored on a server. We keep no accounts and no personal profiles.

Cookies and advertising

ShovelMath may display advertising to keep the calculators free. When ads are served through Google AdSense and other third-party vendors, those vendors may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google, as a third-party vendor, may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to ShovelMath and other sites.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
• Third-party ad networks set and read their own cookies under their own privacy policies, which we don't control.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which calculators are used and to fix problems. Any such analytics is limited to anonymous, aggregate usage data and is not used to identify individual visitors.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to suppliers, manufacturers and reference sources. Once you follow a link off ShovelMath, that site's own privacy policy applies — we're not responsible for how other sites handle your data. Some of those links are commercial; the affiliate disclosure sets out how they are marked and what we earn from them.

Children

ShovelMath is a general-audience tools site and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from them.
